LifeStory is designed to help families record life moments โ including the childhood of their children. Because a family member (a parent or guardian) may use the Service to document a child's milestones and memories, we are committed to protecting children's privacy in accordance with applicable laws, including the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) where it applies.
This notice explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information of children under 13 when their information is submitted to the Service by a parent or guardian.
We collect children's information only from a parent or guardian who has created a family timeline for the child. We do not knowingly solicit personal information directly from children. A child under 13 should not create an account or submit content on their own.
Where COPPA applies, we require verifiable parental consent before collecting, using, or disclosing personal information of children under 13. By using the Service to create records about a child under 13, the parent or guardian confirms that they are the child's parent or legal guardian and consent to our collection and use of the child's information as described in this notice and our Privacy Policy.
We do not sell or share children's information for advertising or marketing purposes.
